Christmas Season Versus Holiday Season

bullet imagebullet image

In the United States, the month of December is the Christmas Season, not the Holiday Season. To the best of my knowledge there's only 1 vacation in December recognized by our authorities. December 25 was made a legal holiday so as to celebrate the arrival of Christ. There are not any other legal holidays during the entire month of December. Chanukah, Hannukah, or Hanukah is a party and, some saya Jewish Holiday . however, it isn't a legal holiday. Kwanza is a party rather than a legal holiday. Christmas Eve isn't a day and New Years Eve isn't a day. We do not predict the entire month of May, the Holiday Season, though that is when Memorial Day is celebrated. About Martin Luther King Day we do not have vacation parades, we've got Martin Luther King Day parades. We do not say happy vacation on the Fourth Of Julywe state Happy Independence day or Happy Fourth Of July. Why do some people today insist we say happy vacation and vacation season once we are celebrating Christmas?

I will tell you why. It's because the organized religion of atheism (Yes atheism, is an organized faith, it's a faith of non belief) Is waging war against Christianity since the very first battle in a war against the other religions. If they could conquer Christianity in this nation of Christians, they then could defeat all religions which believe in a God or higher power.

I'm a Christian. I really don't, but know for certain, if Christ is the son of God or when he had been a teacher or what. I do understand, I think in the teachings ascribed to him. I do understand, that though we're people and therefore can't and don't necessarily stick to all those teachings, that when all of us tried to live by these teachings of kindness and love, the entire world could be a much better location. In addition, I understand I need Christ to be the Son of God since then it might indicate that God did and did care and that there could very well be a Heaven.

I disagree with the manager of special projects such as the American Family Association when he states,"Christmas is not a holiday" and calling Christmas a vacation"devalues our nation's most holy day." Christmas is a holidayseason. In reality, I believe Christmas and the Fourth Of July to be this nation's two most important and most happy holidays. The Fourth Of July celebrates the arrival of the country and Christmas celebrates the birth of Christ. Employees are given Christmas Day off with pay, school kids are given a few days off for Christmas holiday. Offices hold Christmas celebrations. Families get together, listen to Christmas songs, stuff themselves with food and give each other presents. Marines gather"Toys For Tots". The Salvation Army lays out it is kettles and collects cash that's used to aid needy people all through the year. Many family members who've been feuding all year round get together and forgive each other. Christmas is a holiday of forgiveness and love.

Christmas is a holiday that everyone, not only Christians, should observe. Almost nobody denies that Christ did exist at once. The controversy is, whether he is the son of God. Placing that controversy apart, Christ preached or taught"peace on earth and goodwill towards men". If folks bemoan the reality that John Lennon died because he had been a fighter for peace, how do they not observe the truth that Christ was born? Christ was arguably the first teacher of calmness, goodness and forgiveness. He lived and died promoting calmness. He promoted peace, he dwelt peace. He taught bias, he dwelt forgiveness. Christ set an example which has lived for more than two thousand decades. If Martin Luther King may have a vacation, in case Presidents, Veterans, labour and many others can have their very own vacations, why should not Christ have a vacation.

Take note to other religions: You need to support Christmas. If you permit the atheists to kill Christmas, it might become your faith they go after next. There's a war being fought now. I am not discussing the war in Iraq. I am discussing the war against faith being attracted by atheists and particular hard line fanatics about the left. At this time, they're winning the war since spiritual groups aren't fighting back into a cohesive way. If religious groups do not help one another, someday they will cease to exist along with the United States will become the next Soviet Union. Maintaining our right to take part in faith and also to observe our faith is a very first step in taking our additional freedoms.

Among the chief reasons that the United States managed to become so good is that, contrary to what the atheists and a few others inform you, we aren't a secular nation. Our entire technique of our laws come in large part from our forefathers spiritual beliefs.

Perhaps it doesn't look so, but I am not against all atheists. They've a right to think in non conscious and I support the right. I'm only against the activists which are attempting to drive their non beliefs down my neck. I am ready to leave them alone if they're eager to abandon me and mine . The dilemma is they will not leave us alone. They do not need to enable us to think as we want. They need us to think as they do. They do not believe in Christmas so they wish to take Christmas away from us.

1 last note to all you significant retailers that wish to sell gifts for me to give as Christmas gifts, if you won't admit the Christmas Season on your advertisements and on your shops, then do not expect me to store in your shops. If you insist on saying vacation season and happy holidays rather than Christmas Season and Merry Christmas, I shall insist rather than working together with you. For now, at least, you're free to do as you need and I'm totally free do as I need. My desire is to boycott you, not just throughout the Christmas Season but for quite a very long time to come. But I'm still boycotting everything French and now I've been boycotting Jane Fonda and Shirley MacLaine because the Vietnam War. Want to know more information click Christmas traditions wordwide
